We’re growing

We’ve expanded with the recruitment of several new senior staff members.

The team is growing with plans for further expansion and jobs by the end of the year.

The move and recruitment of new team members signals our expansion as we seek to grow our presence in Scotland, the UK and Europe.

We have doubled our workforce to include engineers, designers and planning experts with plans in place to grow out our new residential management-arm and brand, BOHO.

Among our new staff members is Group Operations Director Brian Smith, the former Regional Technical Director of GRAHAM Group.

Brian has 30 years’ experience in architecture, construction and design management and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Builders.

He has successfully led teams and delivered projects across a number of key fields in construction including hotel and further education residential builds, schools, commercial/retail projects, primary healthcare and research facilities, and also Ministry of Defence (MOD) projects.

Christine Young, former Head of Operations at Fresh Property Group, joins as Operations Director of the management-arm BOHO.

She will focus on building, recruiting and developing BOHO, which will management the properties owned by the firm. Former Senior Communications and Public Affairs officer at Glasgow Caledonian University, will direct communications, marketing and brand development.

The expansion follows a JVA agreed between the company and Chicago-based Harrison Street Real Estate worth around £500million, one of the biggest deals of its kind for a SME in Scotland.

Structured House Group’s flagship development at Scotway House will open in September 2019 and is a £40million investment, creating more than 300 jobs plus, and will be home to 400 students and two restaurants. The new building will be under the management of BOHO and available for booking later this year.
